Get Hippy - Friday - April 27th

Julia "Butterfly" Hill has become everybody's favorite wood nymph, a global celebrity able to command more reportorial microphones and telephones and cameras than any other living environmentalist..

Friday evening, in an event co-sponsored with the University of Colorado's Environmental Center, Julia Butterfly Hill, known for her two year tree-sit in an old-growth forest in California, will share her perspectives on Earth Activism today as the keynote speaker. The Conference following will bring together a number of earth activists to focus on a vision of activism that weaves together a contemplative view with active engagement in the world.

But first well go across the street to discuss environmentalism Boulder style with margaritas at La Iguana Taqueria, "...indisputably, no better place to catch some rays, kick back some Coronas and mingle with the college scene in town."
