Fondness for the freakish-  Thur/Feb, 08

"Sideshow of the Absurd, Pamela Joseph incorporates bright lights, moving parts and mud flap-worthy female figures to create eleven twisted "exhibits."  BMoCA will host BMoCA After Hours, a series of live  performances and artful entertainment that are free and open to the public on Thursdays."

From Art to architecture - check out a Tajikistan teahouse next door.  It's unlike any other building in all of Boulder.  "This unique restaurant took nearly eight years to conceive and build. The majority of the highly decorated edifice was constructed and hand-painted in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on the western edge of the Himalayas. It was then shipped to Boulder in 200 crates, where artisans painstakingly assembled it as a symbol of friendship between the two sister cities."
